The dolphin is the school mascot, of course, and the Dolphin Dash is the largest fundraiser of the year. It's a donation-driven fundraising event where students collect donations that are tied to their participation in a fun-run at school, called the Dolphin Dash. The funds raised go to support enhanced educational experiences including field trips, teacher supplies, school events like the STEM Night, teacher stipends, playground equipment, books for the library and much more!
This year's Dolphin Dash Fundraiser!
This year, all students will receive a free Dolphin Dash themed t-shirt to wear at the Dolphin Dash and to show they participated in the event! All students will also receive Otter Pops and a Class Picture with Danny! The Dolphin Dash will be held at school on Friday, October 6th during school hours.
Monday to Friday, October 9-13, we promote our fundraiser as a Dash Spirit Week. Dance Dude will be at school during PE to teach some cool dance moves to our students, and everyone will be free to dress up as per a theme of the day (Refer Details Below).
On Friday, October 13th, we will celebrate our fundraising achievements with a 'GLOW' party called the 'Dolphin Bash'. Dance Dude will be at school as Dj:)
Fundraising begins now and finishes the day of the Bash. Students raise money via donations from parents, grandparents, etc., to earn prizes for themselves and their classrooms. Parents can submit corporate matching to their employer to increase donations.
Now - Oct. 13:Donation forms (for donating by check) will be sent home with your child near the start of school! Return your donation forms to school (only needed for donations made by personal check).
