  LWSD has the following student meal programs in place:   • Currently, the district is able to prepare lunches for LWSD students throughout the extended closure starting on Monday, March 19th. • Meals must be ordered between 2:00pm the previous day and 8:00am the day of the pickup. • There are vegetarian and non-vegetarian options for meals. • Student meal accounts will be charged according to the student’s eligibility status. • Students must be present in order to receive the meal. • Meals will be distributed at the six of middle schools where our base kitchens are: o Finn ... read full article

Movie Night for Kids and Parents Feb 6
Join your friends and family for a movie night and watch Abominable . Grab dinner at Jimmy Johns (a fundraiser for the PTSA that night) and head to the big gym at school at 6pm on February 6th in your pajamas, bring a blanket and enjoy some popcorn provided by the PTSA. Movie run time is 1 hour 40 minutes. Students will be sitting on the floor but parents can bring a fold out chair or there will be a few lunch tables set up at the back of the room.  Art Walk is our annual art exhibition where we display art work of our every single student. This year in addition to the exhibition, we have an exciting door prize, kids' activity stations, silent auction for staff art, a collaborative mural, photo booth, food truck and much more! This year’s Yearbook theme is DREAM THE IMPOSSIBLE . Submit your yearbook cover idea to the front office by Thursday, December 5, 3:30 pm . Guidelines include using only 8.5x11” plain paper, erasing stray marks, using lots of color, spelling correctly, and putting your name and teacher on the BACK of the submission. Have a parent help with the guidelines. Original submissions may not be returned. The entries will be reviewed and voted on by a committee. The results will be announced early December.
