THURSDAY, MARCH 29TH 6:00-8:00 PM

One of many events made possible by your time & donations to PTSA.  Thank You!

The Samantha Smith Elementary PTSA is sponsoring a STEM Night on Thursday, March 29th, from 6-8 pm. It's a long-lived tradition at our school, and it's a great opportunity to foster a lifelong interest in STEM. Students who participate will enter one of four STEM categories:

  • Science: Physics, chemistry, biology, environmental science
  • Technology: Coding, video games, computers
  • Engineering: Mechanical models, electrical circuits, robotics
  • Mathematics: Math concepts, student-designed games & puzzles

All young scientists, programmers, engineers and mathematicians can display a project at STEM Night. Judging will precede the event from 4-6 pm. Students in grades 3-5 must be present during judging. Students in grades K-2 are strongly encouraged to be present.

There will also be science demonstrations during the event!
