Do you enjoy math? Do you enjoy a challenge? Do you enjoy some friendly competition? If you answered yes to these three questions, then this spring's Math Olympiad competition is for you! Here are the details:

• Competition Date: April 23 and 24 (all online/remote, with a beginning time on Friday the 23rd, and a closing time on Saturday the 24th - this includes both opening and closing remote ceremonies)
• Who can compete: Any 3rd, 4th, or 5th grader
• Cost: $40 per team (teams can be up to 4 people)
• Practice sessions: Mrs. Barber, Mrs. McMaster, and Mr. Scott will lead five practice sessions on Wednesdays from 1:00 to 2:00pm. These will take place on Teams on March 17, March 24, March 31, April 14, and April 21.
• complete this Forms survey by March 10th to register your 4 member team or to be placed in a team. All 4 members of the team have to fill this form individually so that we have the contact information of all parents.

 Additional Information:

• Parents are responsible for mailing one check per team of $40.00 to Math Olympiad (payment details available after registration). 
• Teachers are not allowed to gather any checks to mail into Math Olympiad. 
• Samantha Smith Math Team is free to any/all students interested in joining for Math Olympiad. 
• We are Smith Peace Builders and mathematicians!

Please respond no later than March 10th, so that we may register for the competition in time.
