The Legacy Project

You may have seen them around the school. Every year, fifth grade students leave behind a little something to mark their time at Smith. From last year's buddy bench to the colorful, tiled art from 2007, the projects indeed leave a mark.

This year, fifth grade students at Smith worked hard to beautify the portable areas with special landscaping. They rolled up their sleeves, dug in the dirt, and planted life, reinvigorating the area. The students also left words of wisdom and encouragement in colorful rocks around the area. It's a full-of-life, rock-solid project for many more generations to build upon.

We are asking for a little help, as the new gardens will need a bit of watering to get started during the hot summer months. If you can spare some time over the summer to water the plants, please sign up online
