Do you know a Smith teacher/educator or volunteer who consistently goes above and beyond to make our school great? Want to recognize them for their hard work? Then nominate them for a PTSA Award.
Each year, the Smith PTSA accepts nominations for the 'Outstanding Educator Award' (given to a teacher, staff or community member) and the 'Golden Acorn Award' (given to a community volunteer).
Who can nominate someone? Anyone affiliated with Smith may submit a nomination; parents, students, teachers, staff, etc.
How to nominate: Fill out an electronic nomination form (links below) or paper form. Electronic forms should be emailed to board@smithptsa.org. Paper forms may be deposited in the nominations box on the table outside the front office at Smith. There are also printed forms available on the table.
Deadline: Please get your nomination forms back to us by Friday, May 17th.
Winners will be announced at the June PTSA Membership Meeting and posted online. Each winner receives an award certificate and pin, and a contribution is made in their name to the Washington State PTA Scholarship Program that benefits students.
